Reviews from recent families
“I highly recommend Tara as caregiver for your growing family. Tara worked with our family for several months after I gave birth to my second child. She handled with ease diaper changes, bathing, bottle feeding, sleep and calming general newborn fussiness. She was totally in tune with what my newborn needed.
In addition to her invaluable expertise with newborns she is also great with older children. My toddler son was very attached to me and I had tremendous difficulty trying to leave him with babysitters, but he tool to Tara immediately.
Tara is not only an amazing caregiver, she is part of the family! I strongly recommend her!”

We worked with Tara as a night doula for our newborn son, three nights per week for the first eight weeks of his life. We learned so much from her, not only about things like how to get rid of his diaper rash, and the best, natural baby products to use - but also how to notice if his belly was full from gas, how to give him soothing belly massages, and offering suggestions for keeping my breastmilk supply up.
All these things truly demonstrated her vast experience working with children and her special super power: having deep empathy towards sweet precious little ones.
Also, she would sometimes make me healthy, tasty breakfast snacks, would wash and fold our baby’s laundry and was always so clean, often leaving our kitchen in a better state than when she arrived.
Lastly, we got along really well! She is very easy going and a pleasure to chat with.
I wouldn’t hesitate to have her care for my kiddo whether it’s our next baby or our now 11-month old.

“My husband and I first spoke with her when we were expecting our first baby. She came to meet us in person to ensure we felt comfortable her, provided multiple glowing references and gave lots of advise how to prepare and set up nursery. We weren’t sure how it would be having someone in our home overnight, but Tara immediately made us feel comfortable with her warm gentle presence. Thanks to her care my husband was able to get full nights of sleep and I slept as much as possible in-between nursing. We both rested soundly knowing our baby was being well cared for. Throughout the month she was with us, Tara helped us get into a rhythm as a new family. She gave invaluable advice on everything from breastfeeding to baby gas to the best pajamas for midnight diaper changes (double zip!) Now 2 months in, we are feeling confident and joyful in parenthood thanks to the foundation she helped set for us. We both love Tara and have already agreed she will be our first phone call whenever we decide to have a second child.

“Tara is so amazing, as a mother of 4 kids I can attest! It was so comfortable having her hear to help care for our baby so I could work. I hired her the moment I met her. I really appreciate that she was just as (if not more) cautious as I am with the safety of my babies. She mostly cared for my son from 3 months until 15 months. She is a blessing. I am so glad she was here to help our whole family, she is truly invaluable.”

Tara was an invaluable help and resource in the first 6 weeks of our daughter Colette’s life. I’m so grateful we opted for a night nurse and someone as calm and nurturing as she. She is reliable, responsive, and extremely knowledgeable. Having someone that we could rely on for questions in those early days was crucial. She recognized that Colette preferred sleeping with her hands up and ordered anything we needed. She recognized when Colette’s diaper rash needed attention. She helped Colette latch for late night feedings when I was struggling and I grew to love our late night chats. Not to mention she’s most definitely a baby whisperer, knowing exactly how to calm Colette, explaining growth spurts and sleep regressions. She made healthy nourishing breakfasts that I devoured in the following days. I can’t imagine those first weeks without her and I’m so grateful we chose Tara.
